Mystical and Fantasy Gallery

Here is a special box made for a special, fairy, friend of my youngest son.

I made the photos at the party and gave the box to her afterwards as an extra gift.  I used the paper from the invitation so it was sentimental.  I have used the new Sweet Pea Border (DA0593) from Dusty Attic, cut up a little.

Also, as I had planned on making the gift I scanned the Birthday card that he gave to her and cut and pasted it a little.  It was a pirates and pixies party, so I am referring to the cute kitty with the eyepatch...

I have explained how I finished the border in the CREATIVE TUTORIALS section on the home page, where there is also the instructions for making the box itself.

I think some girls are just born with glitter in their veins and flowers in their hair!

Above are photos of my youngest son's 5th Birthday.  We had a Knights and Dragons theme and the children had loads of fun with Uncle Wayne who dressed up in the Dragon suit.  I have started making a few pages and have finished an off the page castle album.  I have used the cute mini dragonflies from the Dusty Attic DA#0518 and the Karen Foster Design papers.  The black is German Scrap and the glitter is from Tim Holtz stickles range.

Above is a card that I made for my husband as he loves all things indian.  I have used the Dusty Attic Wings #1 DA0190 and turned them onto the side to create and indian embellishment.  I have also used German Scrap and some feathers that came from his beloved pigeons!!!

A very simple but effective idea.  I have used strong double sided tape to attach the new prima rosebuds!  This photo is of my special Sophie on her 10th Birthday.

"Once upon a time" I had to be a "Fairy Story Teller" at an event (I filled in for my teenage daughter who bailed on the deal!!!) but it turned out to be a laugh anyway. I created a "master piece" in these fairy wings (thats what I called it, mainly to ease my suffering of using up nearly all of my stash of scrapbook supplies on them). I have added some of the too pretty mini fairies DA#0562, tucked in here and there. I have painted them white and used Tim Holtz Rock Candy Crackle on them. My children (and hopefully not me ever again) still use the wings for parties etc. so they hang lovingly in my scraproom, waiting for another day of use. The photo is of my daughter's friend btw because she always says to me "Can we play dress ups?" whenever she comes over, which of course I am delighted to indulge in. "My" daughter kept pulling faces!!! I wonder why??? Hope you have found some inspiration...
"Adrift on Dreams"

This is one of the first Dusty Attic pages I created.  I did the

About Me - Concise Biography

My photo
My work history is varied and diverse. From the high profile studios of NWS Channel 9, to the exciting aviation industry, I have a resume' with an extensive list of skills and experience. I reside in sunny Australia. The main purpose of this blog was that it was started out of necessity but has grown into something I enjoy. “To Do What You Love, and Feel That It Matters, What Could Be More Fun?”. I believe this particular industry promotes self esteem in many, whilst being part of a Design Team helps businesses and friends but most of all I love all the fantastic messages that one can give to another through this avenue. It assists me in my endeavour to leave the world a better place… (and as Barbie would say at the beauty pageant "and I wish for world peace";) Hoping that you find some inspiration from my work!
