Aviation Series

Posted on | Wednesday, July 24, 2013 | No Comments

Here I have a start on what I will call the Aviation Series of projects.  It relates to a time when I worked in this field and is to capture the memories of those times.

It is also my particular favorite so you will see a fair bit of it ;)   I still need to get permission from the people in the photographs which has held me up a little.

Happy creating to you...

Goose Feather Angel

Posted on | Monday, July 22, 2013 | No Comments

This is how this pretty little Angel started off life...

Springtime - white and mini glitter roses - white, some gorgeously soft goose feathers and some unbelievably exquisite little delicate paper frames from Manor House Creations

I think that this one is going to go to a very special friend and Angel...

Note Books

Posted on | Friday, July 19, 2013 | No Comments

I have created two similar notepads this week.
The first is a store bought one that has been slightly altered and the second is made from scratch...
The store bought notepad was really easy to alter and was quick and easy fun...
...but there is nothing quite like the satisfaction
of making something totally on your own.

Products Used:
Manor House Creations flowers
Teeny Weenies Roses
SHADES - apple green
SHADES - ivory
Sweeties - white
Reflex copy paper
gold embellishments

These glitter florals are such a great flower to use...they come in different colours (I've used Aqua and Orchid here) and can add just that perfect finishing touch to any project.   Manor House Creations
Other products used:  Imaginarium Chipboard Words, Bazil Basics Paper and a very old patterned paper.

Tomorrow's Memories

Posted on | Friday, July 12, 2013 | No Comments

This year Tomorrow's Memories in Bassendean celebrated its 9th Birthday - I went down to say Happy Birthday to them and give them a gift of Happy, Happy Gerberas!!!!!...when you visit the delightful store you will see immediately why they have stood the test of time and stayed in business for so long...They have the most quaint store in a really cosy location  The store itself is a restored Post Office of days gone by, with wooden floorboards and loads of atmosphere.  The location is close to all different kinds of food and beverage shops including chinese and on some weekends there is a fabulous street market (with more delishous food) and treasures to be found.

The owners are just the sweetest ladies you are ever likely to meet...

It is my pleasure to announce that I am working for these very same gorgeous ladies:-

They still have space I believe for a free day of creating tomorrow too (Saturday 13th July, 2013;)

About Me - Concise Biography

My photo
My work history is varied and diverse. From the high profile studios of NWS Channel 9, to the exciting aviation industry, I have a resume' with an extensive list of skills and experience. I reside in sunny Australia. The main purpose of this blog was that it was started out of necessity but has grown into something I enjoy. “To Do What You Love, and Feel That It Matters, What Could Be More Fun?”. I believe this particular industry promotes self esteem in many, whilst being part of a Design Team helps businesses and friends but most of all I love all the fantastic messages that one can give to another through this avenue. It assists me in my endeavour to leave the world a better place… (and as Barbie would say at the beauty pageant "and I wish for world peace";) Hoping that you find some inspiration from my work!
