The Black Tulip
I have a faux book that I create A4 pages of the familys favorite books. The above page will go in as a singular sheet to start with and when I have enough pages I will bind the book together somehow. This isnt the cover of the book we have but I thought this version of it looked prettier. I will insert some photographs of the inside pages and the concise write up of what the book is about etc in between the two cardboard covers that make up the mini book. (So it will be a book inside a book;)
Above and below are close-ups of the faux hinges that I have made out of the new black heart lace and a little gem cut off from the beaded jewels. I am one to cut things up and make a lot more use out of it than to keep it just as one...a bit like when you're a child and you break the biscuit up into eight pieces to make it look like more...? I sincerely hope someone other than me can relate to that...

I reside in sunny Australia.
The main purpose of this blog was that it was started out of necessity but has grown into something I enjoy.
