Prima Flowers

Hi just a little idea I wanted to share with everyone, as it is so simple yet I found it to be very effective.

For my little girl's Birthday recently I used some gorgeous new rosebuds from Prima to stick on the end of her little butterfly clips.  I used strong double sided tape, and it stayed in perfectly, too easy!!!

Charity Wings - Featured Artist!!!

I am SO excited about being featured on the Charity Wings website!!! I sent away my tutorial (SWALK) and when I got the email saying I was going to be featured, I cried!  Tears of joy of course, and I am still so very over the moon  about it.

I was first introduced to Charity Wings or Scrapbook Royalty as it was when I first came into contact with them, when we travelled to America a few years ago.  They were hosting the most fabulous class that I had ever seen, (and I should add here that I am fairly hard to impress:) and I'm pretty sure it was advertised in one of their stores websites, (so sorry but I can not remember the name, but it may have been Scrappin in the Hills or Ever After Scrapbooking)  but I was SO disappointed that I would have to miss out due to our travel dates not being in synchronisation with it. 

The sheer "Princess Like" qualities the organisation dazzled me (like the true magpie that I am)(this is an Australian bird that loves glittery things for their nests, if you didn't know).  All the bling and "Royalty" of it mesmerized me and still does.

I can not wait to get my "Charity Wings" badge/blinkie as I just LOVE wings on so many different levels - Angels, Aeroplanes, Doves...

They have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity, and they have some very big names on board...you should go check them out now on the link below xxxx

The time difference between Australia and America is approximately 12 hours. I am being featured on Friday18th March.

Also today, I had a "moment" of tranquillity from an article that I was reading in our Australian "Scrapbook Creations" magazine.  It was from an off the page item, that was published in the magazine  from our totally amazing Design Team Co-ordinator, Evana Willis.  It read "I would rather have wings than have things".  I get such alot of inspiration from this beautiful woman, in such alot of different areas, who is a newer  friend of mine, but one who's friendship I treasure already so very much and it just fits that she would have something like this on her art.  Another saying I love is "Friends are Angels Without Wings" without them we have only one wing and cannot fly.

Once again, I will say I love wings on so many different levels and I feel so honoured and blessed to be featured on the fabulous Charity Wings website. 

So Much to Upload!!

Hi there, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have SO much work to upload,  so visit back regulary as they say "Rome was not built in a day" - so true that! :) But really, I have such a lot of work that I have done over the last 10 years, that needs to go up on this blog for all to enjoy and be inspired from...

I will, at this stage be uploading at least 2 -3 projects per month,  a minimum of one tutorial on techniques and a minimum of one tutorial on storage!  I hope you will join me on this enjoyable journey of making  my creations public...

It's an oldie but a goodie "Success is a Journey, not a Destination"...
