Well I feel like shouting this from the roof tops! I am so very thrilled to be part of this absolutely awesome Design Team!!! I have been so lucky to have had some contact from the members and really look forward to getting to know everyone and creating some really fun designs. I have now joined every online thing possible (I feel) and it is a little bit overwelming atm, so threfore this post (lol I forgot how to put one on facebook...). Please be patient with me everyone as I am getting there and will be on fire soon (I hope!) I have made more than a few really long emails to people only to have them not go through, so been rather put out and off so not doin it for a minute! Hope to catch up with the Design Team properly very soon... and thankyou everyone for your comments and well wishes ...

I tell such alot of people about this book (all the people I REALLY love) so I thought I would post the title of "Fit For Life" and the authors name is Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. The title is not what it appears and there is such alot of life changing information in here. May God Bless....

These are the photos of the cigar shop next to "Scrappin in the Hill" that I was referring to in my previous post. Wouldn't you love to buy all of these at that price!

USA

I wanted to show some photos of one of the fabulous stores I visited in the US last year. This one was in San Diego and called "Ever After". It was really inspiring, and if only I could have stayed longer than an hour I would have loved to do some of their classes! Another store in Anaheim Hills had some great classes too and this one was close to our hotel so I did manage to do one class but as luck would have it the second class I was really enthusiastic to do was cancelled :( but the owner was so lovely about it. The photo of the wooden boxes was from the cigar shop next door to "Scrappin in the Hills" and every time I looked at them I thought how much I would LOVE to do something with them and at that price!!! But I was, as you would expect OVERloaded with baggage already and just couldnt squeeze them in. A very big thankyou goes out to Sarah who asked her friends over the net where I should go when in California, which was invaluable! Mmmwa to you Sarah...I am like an elephant and never forget a good deed and like to return it double fold!

August 2010 DT
"Barbie" was the theme I chose for my August Design Team Pack, the "Girls Paperie" range of papers accompanying the Maya Road manequin book. I added chipboard manequins from the Dusty Attic and Collections ranges. I decorated Barbie's little sister Stacey with paper aswell! The adult Barbies remained in the state that I bought them from the opportunity shop, (nakey) which was a source of great entertainment, amusement and little private jokes!!! The large flower (bottom right) I made in a class by the VERY talented Sarah Looby-Loo. I also made a "World's Greatest Gran" gift out a tin can that the children can give to their grandmother for her birthday. I went a bit crazy with this paper and started alot of other pages which will eventuate into an entire album dedicated to my very own Barbie girls.

About Me - Concise Biography

- Nancy Winter
- My work history is varied and diverse. From the high profile studios of NWS Channel 9, to the exciting aviation industry, I have a resume' with an extensive list of skills and experience.
I reside in sunny Australia.
The main purpose of this blog was that it was started out of necessity but has grown into something I enjoy.
“To Do What You Love, and Feel That It Matters, What Could Be More Fun?”.
I believe this particular industry promotes self esteem in many, whilst being part of a Design Team helps businesses and friends but most of all I love all the fantastic messages that one can give to another through this avenue. It assists me in my endeavour to leave the world a better place… (and as Barbie would say at the beauty pageant "and I wish for world peace";) Hoping that you find some inspiration from my work!
